What is your name and where are you from?
My name is Alexandra Helou (@kibok.art). I’m Lebanese French currently living in Switzerland.
Why did you decide to become an artist?
I don’t think we decide to become an artist for a specific reason or point in our life but art has always been part of me. However, few years ago I quit my job in a marketing firm because I wanted to live a life full of passion and make my daily job what I love most.
Who or what inspires your work?
A key inspiration to my work is love in general, but really anything can inspire me from my daily life, worldwide events, beautiful sceneries, architecture and/or personal experiences.
What would you like to achieve with your work?
What I’d like to achieve with my work is to put some positivity, love and hope in people’s lives through the messages I deliver.
What role does Instagram have for you and your art?
Instagram allows me to show my work to a very wide audience, to spread my messages and also to get work and project opportunities.
How do you interact with your followers?
I always respond to their messages or comments because I never take the love they give me for granted and I am always grateful for their support.

Instagram and my website www.kibokart.com on which I am building my e- shop.
What do you like most about being an artist?
I believe that everyone is an artist of a certain kind. What I love about my situation is that I have turned it into my job. It allows me invest all my time and energy doing what I love most.
What has been your best work so far? Why do you like it most?
My best work so far is my comic character Kiboodle. I love my character because we’ve come a long way both of us. I adore the fact that he is so loving, cute, funny and has a pure heart. I love that people are able to relate to all these traits and also love him for that.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
There are so many dreams I’d like to accomplish in 10 years from now so it’s a tough question! But what I can say is that I hope to keep doing what I love every day and especially continue to convey messages of love, positivity and hope through my art. Even putting a smile on someone’s face is a big achievement for me.
